SMS terms and conditions

These SMS Terms and Conditions ("SMS Terms") govern text messages sent in connection with JunkCarValue.com. They are part of, and incorporate by reference, our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Program description

When you complete and submit a form on JunkCarValue.com and provide your consent, two separate things can happen:

• Messages from the car buyers we connect you with. JunkCarValue.com is a lead service - we do not buy vehicles. After you opt in on our form, we share your request with one or more third-party junk-car buyers, and those buyers may contact you by phone call and text message (including by automated or prerecorded/AI voice and autodialed texts) to make and discuss an offer for your vehicle. These messages are sent by the buyers under their own messaging registration and the consent you gave when you submitted the form.
• Transactional and service messages from JunkCarValue.com. We may send you text messages to operate the service - for example, to confirm your request, deliver a one-time code or confirmation, respond to your questions, or follow up about a request you started. JunkCarValue.com does not operate a marketing or promotional SMS program and does not send promotional text messages.

Providing consent to receive calls or texts is not a condition of any purchase, sale, or service.

Message types and purpose

• From JunkCarValue.com (transactional/service only): request confirmations, one-time codes or verification messages, customer-support replies, and service-related follow-ups about a request you submitted.
• From buyers we connect you with: offer-related calls and texts about buying your vehicle, scheduling pickup, and completing a sale, sent under each buyer's own consent and registration.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies and depends on your activity, your request, and how many buyers respond to you. There is no fixed number of messages.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Any charges are billed by, and payable to, your mobile carrier under your wireless plan. Check with your carrier for details.

How to opt out (STOP)

You can stop text messages at any time. Reply STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any text message to stop receiving texts from that sender. After you send one of these keywords, you will receive one final confirmation message acknowledging that you have opted out, after which that sender will stop texting you.

Because the buyers we connect you with send their messages independently under their own registration, opting out of texts from one sender does not automatically opt you out of messages from a different sender. You may need to reply STOP to each sender separately. To stop JunkCarValue.com service messages, reply STOP to a message from JunkCarValue.com or contact us using the details below.

How to get help (HELP)

For help, reply HELP to any text message, or contact our support team at +1 (302) 219-6669 or by email at privacy@junkcarvalue.com. Replying HELP will return a message with basic program and contact information.

Supported carriers

Text messaging is supported on major U.S. wireless carriers, which may include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, and others, as well as many regional carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and is not guaranteed.

Messages sent by buyers under their own consent

The car buyers we connect you with are independent third parties. Each buyer is responsible for its own messaging program, its own carrier registration, and its own compliance with applicable law based on the consent you provided when you submitted our form. JunkCarValue.com does not control the content, timing, or frequency of messages sent by buyers. To stop messages from a particular buyer, follow the opt-out instructions in that buyer's message (for example, reply STOP to that sender).

Revoking your consent

You may revoke your consent to be contacted by call or text at any time, by any reasonable method. In addition to the STOP keywords above, you can email privacy@junkcarvalue.com or call +1 (302) 219-6669 to ask that we, and the buyers we connected you with, stop contacting you. We will honor your request and forward it as needed, though it may take a short time to take effect across all senders.

Privacy

Information collected through text messaging is handled as described in our Privacy Policy, including how we share your request with buyers and your rights to opt out. No mobile information will be shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
