Contact Consent (Calls and Texts)

This is the written agreement that the consent checkbox on our lead form points to. It explains exactly what you agree to when you give us your phone number and submit the form.

This Contact Consent (this “Consent”) is between you and JunkCarValue.com, operated by Junk Car Value LLC (“JunkCarValue,” “we,” “us,” or “the Site”). By checking the consent box on our form and submitting your information, you electronically sign this Consent and agree to its terms. Your agreement is not required to buy or sell anything, and you can change your mind at any time as described below.

Who you are agreeing to be contacted by

You are giving permission to be contacted by:

JunkCarValue.com (us); and
the categories of third parties we connect you with, including junk-car buyers, auto recyclers and salvage yards, car dealers, and the marketing and contact-service providers that act on their behalf (together, the “Buyers”).

We may sell or share your information (including your name, phone number, ZIP code, and vehicle details) with one or more Buyers so they can make you an offer for your vehicle. We do not have to name each Buyer individually, and you agree that this Consent authorizes contact from any Buyer in these categories.

What you agree to

By submitting your information, you expressly agree that we and the Buyers may:

place telephone calls and send text (SMS/MMS) messages to the phone number you provide;
use an automatic telephone dialing system (autodialer) and/or send messages and calls using a prerecorded voice, an artificial voice, and an AI-generated or AI-synthesized (“cloned”) voice;
contact you about selling or buying your vehicle, your estimate, offers, scheduling pickup, and related goods and services.

You agree that we and the Buyers may contact you at the number you provide even if that number is registered on a federal or state Do Not Call list, and you waive any Do Not Call registration as to these contacts for as long as this Consent is in effect.

Your consent is not a condition of any purchase or sale, or of using the Site. You can still get an estimate and sell your vehicle without agreeing to automated or prerecorded/artificial-voice contact - our calculator shows you an estimate without a phone number, and you may instead contact us or a Buyer directly.

Message frequency, rates, and carriers

Message frequency varies and depends on how many Buyers respond to your request. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan and carrier. We and the Buyers do not control, and are not responsible for, your carrier’s charges. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How to stop or opt out

Texts: reply STOP to any text message to stop further texts from that sender. Reply HELP for help, or contact us using the details below.
Calls: you may tell any caller to stop calling, or revoke your consent using any of the methods in this section.
Revoking consent: you may revoke this Consent at any time by any reasonable means. That includes replying STOP to a text, telling a caller to stop, emailing us at privacy@junkcarvalue.com, calling +1 (302) 219-6669, or writing to us at 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713.

Because we share your information with multiple independent Buyers, replying STOP to one Buyer stops that Buyer’s texts but may not stop another Buyer. To stop all contact made through JunkCarValue, contact us directly using the details above. We will honor your request within a reasonable time - and in no event more than 10 business days - and pass it along to the Buyers we shared your information with.

Email contact (separate and optional)

If you provide an email address and separately agree, we and the Buyers may also contact you by email about your vehicle and offers. Email consent is optional and separate from your consent to calls and texts. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email or by contacting us at privacy@junkcarvalue.com.

Record of your consent

To document your agreement, we keep a record of your consent. That record may include the exact consent text shown to you, the date and time you submitted it, the web page (URL) where you gave it, your IP address, and the phone number and other details you provided. We retain this record as proof of consent for at least 5 years, and longer where needed to comply with applicable law.

Who sends which messages

Marketing calls and texts about offers for your vehicle are sent by the Buyers, using their own phone numbers, systems, and under their own consent and compliance practices. JunkCarValue itself sends only transactional or service messages to you - for example, confirming your submission, responding to a HELP request, or following up on a request you made. JunkCarValue is not responsible for the content, timing, or compliance of messages and calls sent by the Buyers.
