JunkCarValue.com is a lead-generation service, not a vehicle buyer. When you submit your contact and vehicle details, we sell or share that information with third-party junk-car buyers who may contact you. This page tells you what we collect and how to opt out.

Notice at Collection: what we collect and why
When you use the JunkCarValue.com offer form, we collect the following categories of personal information at or before the point of collection, and we sell or share it with third-party junk-car buyers and their service providers so they can make you an offer and contact you by call, text, prerecorded message, or AI voice:

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (such as government ID numbers or precise geolocation) through the offer form, and we do not use any information we collect for purposes other than those described in our Privacy Policy.
Your right to opt out of sale or sharing
Because we sell or share your personal information with car buyers, you have the right to tell us to stop. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar state laws, you may opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information at any time. You may also exercise other rights - to know or access, delete, correct, and limit the use of sensitive personal information - through our Privacy Rights Request page.
How to opt out of sale or sharing
You can opt out in any of these three ways:
- Submit the request form. Use our Privacy Rights Request form and choose "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information." This is the fastest way for us to find and stop processing your lead.
- Email us. Send a request to privacy@junkcarvalue.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share." Include the name and phone number you submitted so we can locate your record.
- Use the Global Privacy Control (GPC). We automatically honor the GPC browser signal as a valid opt-out of sale and sharing where required by law. If your browser or extension sends a GPC signal, this Site treats it as your opt-out request without any further action from you. GPC is processed on this Site in your browser (client-side).
Opting out does not affect your estimate
You can get a free junk car value estimate without submitting any contact information. The calculator works on its own - your name, phone, and email are only requested if you want us to connect you with buyers. Opting out of sale or sharing simply means we will not pass your contact details to buyers; it does not block you from using the estimate tools on this Site.
Non-discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights. You will not be denied service, charged a different price, or given a different level or quality of service because you opted out of the sale or sharing of your personal information or submitted any other privacy rights request.
Authorized agents
You may use an authorized agent to submit an opt-out or other request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide proof of your written permission and may ask you to verify your own identity directly with us.
Data broker registration
Because JunkCarValue.com sells or shares consumer personal information with third parties with whom the consumer may not have a direct relationship, we may qualify as a "data broker" under certain state laws and may be required to register in states including California, Texas, Oregon, and Vermont, and to keep that registration current.
