Junk Car Value Calculator
Answer a few quick questions and see what your junk car is worth - with a full breakdown of how we got the number. It takes about a minute, and you do not need to enter a phone number to see your estimate.
Where is the car?
How the estimate is calculated
We start from a scrap floor - what a recycler would pay for the metal and catalytic converter. From your car's typical curb weight (about 70% of it is recoverable steel) we apply the current regional scrap price and add the catalytic converter. Then we add a parts, resale, and local-demand premium: a car that runs and has a clean title is worth far more whole or for parts than its bare metal, so the range climbs accordingly.
The result is an estimate, not a final offer. Your real number depends on the car's actual condition and how much demand there is for that vehicle and its parts in your area. Firm offers come from buyers after they confirm the car - the low end of our range is close to pure scrap, the high end reflects a running, in-demand vehicle.
