Consent to electronic records and signatures (E-SIGN)

This Consent to Electronic Records and Signatures ("E-SIGN Consent") applies to your use of JunkCarValue.com and is provided under the federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN) and similar state laws. It is part of, and incorporates by reference, our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Scope and your electronic signature

By using this site and by checking a box, clicking a button (such as "Submit," "Get my offer," or "I agree"), or otherwise indicating your agreement, you consent to conduct this transaction electronically and you agree that:

• Your click, tap, or checkbox is your electronic signature and has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature.
• Any agreement, consent, authorization, or acknowledgment you provide electronically is valid, enforceable, and binding on you.
• You intend to be bound by the information you submit and the consents you give, including consent to be contacted by call and text as described in our SMS Terms.

Electronic delivery of records

You agree that JunkCarValue.com may provide all communications, notices, agreements, disclosures, policies, and other records ("Records") to you in electronic form - for example, by posting them on the site, displaying them on a screen, or sending them to the email address or phone number you provide. Electronic delivery has the same legal effect as delivery of a paper record. Where the law requires us to provide a Record in writing, this electronic delivery satisfies that requirement.

Hardware and software requirements

To access and retain electronic Records, you will need:

• A device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) with internet access;
• A current, supported web browser that can display HTML pages;
• The ability to view and save PDF documents;
• A valid email address and the ability to receive and read email (and, for text-based communications, a mobile phone able to send and receive SMS); and
• Sufficient storage, or the ability to print, to retain copies of Records for your records.

Withdrawing your consent and requesting paper copies

You may withdraw your consent to transact electronically, or request a paper copy of any Record, by contacting us at privacy@junkcarvalue.com or by calling +1 (302) 219-6669. Please tell us the Record you want and the postal or email address where we should send it.

Withdrawing your consent does not affect the legal validity of Records or transactions made before the withdrawal takes effect. Because our service is provided electronically, withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide the service to you, and it does not by itself revoke any separate consent you gave to be contacted by call or text - to stop those, follow our SMS Terms.

We do not charge a fee for paper copies, and we will honor withdrawal-of-consent and paper-copy requests within a reasonable time after we receive them.

Keeping your contact information current

You are responsible for keeping the email address and phone number you give us accurate and current so we can deliver electronic Records to you. To update your information, contact us at privacy@junkcarvalue.com or +1 (302) 219-6669.

Retention of records

We recommend that you download, print, or otherwise save a copy of any electronic Record for your files. JunkCarValue.com retains records, including consent records, for as long as needed to operate the service and to meet legal record-keeping requirements - including consent records, which we keep for at least 5 years - as described in our Privacy Policy.
