Our commitment

JunkCarValue.com is committed to making the Site accessible to as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice control, and keyboard-only navigation. Accessibility is an ongoing effort for us, and we work to improve the experience over time.

Conformance target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we strive to align with the accessibility expectations of Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.

Measures we take

The Site is a simple set of content pages and an offer form, which we build with accessibility in mind. Our measures include:

  • Semantic HTML. We use meaningful headings, lists, and landmarks so the structure of each page is clear to assistive technologies.
  • Labeled forms. Form fields on our offer form have visible labels and programmatic associations, with clear instructions and error messages.
  • Keyboard navigation. Interactive elements - links, buttons, and form controls - can be reached and operated with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
  • Color contrast. We choose text and background colors that aim to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios so content stays readable.
  • Responsive design. Pages adapt to different screen sizes and support zoom and text resizing, so the Site works on phones, tablets, and desktops.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Accessibility depends in part on third-party tools and browsers we do not control, and new content may occasionally fall short of our target before we catch and fix it. If you run into a barrier, please tell us using the contact details below so we can address it.

Get help, report a problem, or request an accommodation

If you have trouble using any part of the Site, want to report an accessibility problem, or need information in an alternative format or another reasonable accommodation, please contact us. We will do our best to provide the information or help you need.

When you contact us, please describe the page or feature, the problem you ran into, and the browser or assistive technology you were using, so we can reproduce and resolve the issue faster.

Feedback welcome

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of the Site. Your comments help us find problems we may have missed and prioritize improvements that make the Site better for everyone.
